Alien: Rogue Incursion Upgraded for PS5, PC; No Xbox Version Yet

Fans of the Alien universe, get ready for an enhanced gaming experience as Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One: Evolved Edition is set to launch without the need for a VR headset. This upgraded version of the single-player action-horror game will be available on PC and PlayStation 5 starting September 30, 2025. The game promises "even deadlier Xenomorphs and enhanced visuals," making it an exciting prospect for both new and returning players. You can now wishlist the non-VR edition on Steam and PlayStation.

Originally, Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One debuted on PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam in December 2024, followed by a release on Meta Quest 3 in February. Developed and published by Survios, the Evolved Edition will be priced at $29.99 for the standard edition, with a Digital Deluxe edition available for $39.99.

Set between the iconic films Alien and Aliens, the game takes players on a thrilling mission to the planet Purdan (LV-354) in search of a former squadmate. After a sudden attack, protagonist Zula and her Synthetic companion, Davis 01, find themselves navigating the eerie corridors of Gemini Exoplanet Solutions’ Castor’s Cradle research facility. Expect intense action, terrifying encounters with Xenomorphs, and a deep dive into mystery.

IGN's review of the VR version awarded it a 7/10, stating, "Alien: Rogue Incursion is a compelling first crack at bringing Alien to VR with lots of room to grow." The team behind the game will showcase the Evolved Edition at IGN Live next month, offering fans a fresh look at what's in store.
