Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition available now, with a whole new trailer alongside it

Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition has officially launched on iOS, Android, and the Epic Games Mobile Store! This free-to-play title offers a core single-player island experience. For access to all expansions (also purchasable individually), plus additional perks, players can opt for the Ark Subscription Pass.

A new trailer and details have been released, confirming our earlier speculation. While a previous article covers the core Ark gameplay, this release expands accessibility across multiple app stores.

The base Ark experience is free. Expansions are available for individual purchase, or players can subscribe to the Ark Pass ($4.99/month or $49.99/year). The subscription grants access to all current and future expansions, single-player console commands, bonus XP, free key drops, and exclusive server access.

Subscription Concerns:

The subscription model might be a concern for some players who prefer one-time purchases. However, the option to buy expansions individually mitigates this somewhat. The nature of server access, however, remains a potential sticking point, given the importance of multiplayer in the original Ark: Survival Evolved.
