Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a bang! Mecha Weka has just rolled out their most significant update yet, the ‘Trans Edition,’ which packs a hefty punch of new content for both single-player and multiplayer enthusiasts. Let's dive into what the Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition has in store for players.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The update introduces three new Cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, each bringing unique strengths to the battlefield. Alongside these, you'll find two new Buildings—Cannon and Sledgehammer—and two new Units—SpyPlane and MissileFighter—enhancing your strategic options.

Existing Cruisers aren't left behind; they now boast fresh customization options with three new Bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler. These additions allow for even more personalized gameplay.

In Skirmishes, you can now select Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, providing varied gameplay experiences. PvP matches have been enhanced with a new countdown start and aircraft trails that match player colors, making every match more immersive and visually distinctive.

Balancing changes are also a significant part of this update. Ships like the Raptor have received buffs, with its shield build and recharge rate increasing from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead's health rising from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret's damage has been boosted from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16, ensuring a dynamic battlefield.

Visually, Battlecruisers now features stunning underwater transparency, allowing you to savor the sight of your enemies' wreckage. The sea itself has been shaded, and Cruiser and Ship deaths are more dramatic than ever.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its launch in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually, and the Trans Edition continues this tradition. This year's update enriches the game with more SideQuests and introduces a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific, adding layers of intrigue and adventure.

Set in a Flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's world is inhabited solely by robots engaged in a wage war. You take command of your Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to tackle a dangerous array of enemies.
