Electronic Arts has unveiled the projected launch timeframe for the next Battlefield game. Their financial report indicates a release before April 2026.
Industry analyst Tom Henderson, citing EA's historical release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 launch for the new Battlefield title. However, EA remains tight-lipped about specific release dates.
Development is underway across four of EA's internal studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program has already been announced, enabling participants to experience core gameplay elements and provide valuable feedback for pre-release refinement.
This announcement also clarifies the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS installment is not imminent, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
