Netflix's Devil May Cry anime adaptation finally has a release date: April 3rd! The streaming giant revealed the news via a new teaser trailer on X, soundtracked—fittingly—by Limp Bizkit.

First announced in 2018, the eight-episode series is a collaboration between Castlevania's Adi Shankar and Studio Mir, the animation studio behind The Legend of Korra and X-Men '97.
Plot specifics remain under wraps, but the series appears to center on Dante, likely drawing inspiration from the first three Devil May Cry games rather than Devil May Cry 5. Interestingly, Dante will be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, known for voicing Nero in the video game franchise.
The most recent Devil May Cry game, Devil May Cry 5 (2019), marked a triumphant return for the series after a period of relative inactivity following 2013's DmC: Devil May Cry. A standout action title, it's highly recommended, especially for fans of games like Ninja Gaiden Black 2. Read our full Devil May Cry 5 review [here](insert link if available).
