Castle Doombad

Castle Doombad is back! The popular tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, returns as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay on Android. Developed by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, this mobile version offers a fresh take on the classic.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single remake. However, they wisely split the project, creating Free To Slay for mobile and a remastered Castle Doombad Classic for Nintendo Switch and Steam (coming later this year). A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Unleash Your Inner Villain!

Embrace your inner evil in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay! Build a wicked lair, defend it from heroic do-gooders, and unleash your arsenal of traps and minions.

Check out the game trailer below!

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) includes the original 70 stages, daily challenges, and endless modes. Over 30 traps, 100+ unlockable items, and a cosmetic system ("spoils") let you customize your Dark Lord and his lair. Add to this the "Baddie Bonus" perks for enhanced gameplay.

A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," features randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares that grant unique powers. Download Castle Doombad: Free To Slay from the Google Play Store today!
