Pokémon Go enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting February Community Day! Scheduled for February 9th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, this event will feature two spotlight Pokémon: Karrablast and Shelmet. These Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, offering you a prime opportunity to catch them, including their elusive Shiny versions.
The highlight of this event is the evolution bonuses. Evolving Karrablast during the event or up until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time will grant you an Escavalier that knows the Charged Attack Razor Shell. This move boasts a power of 35 in Trainer Battles and 55 in Gyms and Raids. Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe will yield an Accelgor with the Charged Attack Energy Ball, delivering a robust 90 power in both Trainer Battles and Gyms and Raids.
As part of the event, you can engage in Special Research to encounter Karrablast and Shelmet with unique Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds. Completing this research will also reward you with a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL.
Don't miss out on the Timed Research event that extends a week beyond the main Community Day. By logging in during the event, you'll unlock tasks that lead to encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, complete with the special backgrounds.
The February Community Day in Pokémon Go is packed with enticing bonuses. You'll earn 3× XP for catching Pokémon, double the usual Candy, and a 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catches. Lure Modules and Incense (except Daily Adventure Incense) will last for three hours, and there's a special surprise waiting for those who take photos during the event. Make sure to download Pokémon GO from the Google Play Store to join in on the fun.
