TouchArcade Rating:
Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free) will launch next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title aims to combine the turn-based combat of its predecessor with the replayability of roguelite mechanics, creating a fresh monster-collecting experience. The Steam page highlights features including 10 dynamic biomes, 7 playable characters, and over 130 monsters. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is available for free on mobile. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its release will coincide with the Steam and Switch versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds particularly appealing, especially its potential as a quick and engaging mobile title, judging from the Steam screenshots. In the meantime, the original Coromon is available for free on iOS. What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet so far, and have you played the original Coromon?
