Crimson Desert developer Pearl Abyss remains committed to self-publishing its forthcoming action-adventure game. "In our last quarter earnings call, which is publicly available, we disclosed that we would publish Crimson Desert independently," the developer stated to Eurogamer. "We certainly value our business partners, with whom we consistently communicate regarding our progress and plans, and we are exploring various collaborative avenues with them."

Furthermore, the developer revealed that it will publicly demonstrate Crimson Desert next month in November. Pearl Abyss stated, "Moreover, we haven't announced any release date yet, so any related articles are purely speculative at this juncture. We anticipate showcasing a playable Crimson Desert version to media this week in Paris and to the public at G-Star in November."
