If you've been keeping up with our regular feature, the App Army Assemble, you might recall the warm reception we gave to the cyberpunk roguelike deckbuilder Cyber Quest. If this piqued your interest, the latest update introducing Adventure Mode is the perfect reason to dive in and explore!
So, what's new? Adventure Mode offers a more relaxed way to explore the vibrant city setting of Cyber Quest. You can meet an array of quirky characters, take on odd jobs, make tough decisions, or even try your luck at a newly added casino. Engage in hacking minigames, uncover hidden secrets, and encounter both powerful allies and formidable enemies. Yes, that means fresh text adventure events and more to keep you engaged.
But there's more beyond Adventure Mode! A new card class, the Hopper, has been introduced, along with new enemy dialogue to enrich your gameplay experience. The update also features a crew randomizer to add variety to your runs, and squads that help you unlock a range of preset characters. All these additions are designed to enhance your Cyber Quest experience.
Cyberpsychosis Cyber Quest is a standout in the increasingly crowded roguelike deckbuilder genre, capturing my attention with its unique blend of elements. It's refreshing to see an indie game gain such prominence, and the addition of Adventure Mode promises to extend the game's appeal and longevity for both new and returning players.
While we're on the topic of new releases, don't forget to check out our reviews for insights on the latest top games. This week, Jack Brassel has been exploring another popular genre with EvoCreo 2, diving into more creature-collecting action.
