Denji and Reze Hit U.S. Theaters in October with Chainsaw Man Movie

Sony Pictures has set an electrifying release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, slated to slash its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. This thrilling announcement came during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, revealing their acquisition of worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, to bring creator Tatsuki Fujimoto's gripping work to the big screen this fall. Fans in the US can mark their calendars for a late October viewing, while audiences in over 80 other countries will get their chance earlier on September 24, 2025. In Japan, Toho will handle the release starting September 19, 2025.

The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie came in December 2023, and it serves as a direct sequel to the acclaimed MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. The film continues the saga of Denji, a young man who gains a new lease on life after forging a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This partnership grants him the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, propelling him into the role of the formidable Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to the character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga.
