Dev Tyler Unveils v0.3.4 Update: Now Available for Testing

by Emery May 01,2025

The indie hit Drug Dealer Simulator Schedule I continues to dominate Steam as one of its most-played games. Developer Tyler has just released the game's first significant post-launch update, version 0.3.4, and shared the accompanying patch notes on the game’s Steam page. The update is currently available for testing on the beta branch, and Tyler has indicated it will be fully released in a day or two. Players eager to dive in can opt into the beta branch immediately.

Tyler explained, "This beta doesn't quite contain 100% of the features coming in the full release. I'll be adding a few more decorative objects tomorrow [April 8]. I wanted to get this beta out ASAP so that the new wall-mounted objects and pawn shop interface can be thoroughly trialed."

Schedule I made a splash on Steam upon its launch, becoming the top-selling game with more players than heavyweights like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals. Its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube catapulted it to fame. In the game, players start as a small-time dope pusher in the gritty city of Hyland Point, with the goal of becoming a kingpin by manufacturing and distributing drugs, expanding their empire through properties, businesses, and employees.

Developed and published by the Australian indie developer Tyler under the banner TVGS, Tyler described the explosive launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." He shared on Reddit, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
