Unfrozen has unveiled a captivating new teaser video that delves deeper into the Dungeon faction of their eagerly awaited turn-based strategy game, Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era. This latest preview provides an extensive look at the faction's units, including the previously unrevealed third-tier creatures.
"In addition to revealing more about the remaining factions, we wanted to share some details that were missing from our initial Dungeon showcase," said the developers. "We’re also introducing our 'shy' third-tier units! Note that certain abilities and combat stances shown in the first video may not appear here, but this clip highlights what was previously omitted."
The Dungeon faction boasts iconic units such as troglodytes, minotaurs, medusas, and dragons. Each of these creatures has upgraded variants that come with enhanced stats and unique abilities. A prime example is the Infernal Hydra, which features a passive ability that gradually reduces enemy damage over multiple turns, establishing it as a powerful force on the battlefield.
The teaser video not only showcases the current animations and stats of these units but also serves as a reminder that the developers may make balance adjustments before the game's official launch.
Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era is slated to enter Early Access in Q2 2025, with a full release to follow later in the year. This sneak peek into the Dungeon faction has undoubtedly heightened anticipation among fans of the series.
