"Explore Spider-Woman's Origins in New Marvel Contest of Champions Update"

April is set to be an exciting month for fans of Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC), with a lineup that includes the introduction of the new champion, Spider-Woman. Jessica Drew, known as Spider-Woman, has a fascinating origin story. As a child, she was exposed to uranium, which led her father, a brilliant geneticist, to conduct an experimental treatment involving spider DNA. After a challenging recovery, Jessica emerged with unique spider-like abilities, becoming the hero known as Spider-Woman. You'll have the chance to add her to your roster starting April 17th.

Before Spider-Woman makes her debut, MCOC will introduce another intriguing character on April 9th: Lumatrix. Known for his lethal prowess, Lumatrix is an assassin designed by the Founders, equipped with dazzling light-based powers, making him a formidable opponent in any battle.

What Else Is New?

On the narrative front, Act 9 Chapter 2, titled "Inquisition," sees Carina injured after an encounter with Ouroborus forces. Meanwhile, Doctor Doom collaborates with the Fantastic Four to combat the spreading corruption caused by the Chronoserpent. A new villain, Lotan, also emerges, adding to the drama.

Starting April 9th and running through May 7th, the Event Quest "Spy Games" will unfold, with Black Widow investigating the enigmatic Eidols and enlisting Spider-Woman's help to unravel the mystery.

Dark Phoenix returns in the Side Quest "Dark Bounties," challenging players to hunt down champions targeted by her bounty and claim their rewards.

The Incursions: Dark Phoenix Saga Sector is making a comeback, offering players a chance to collect Dark Plumes, Light Essence, Tier 7 Basic Fragments, and 7-Star Class Signature Stones by navigating through the sector with their strongest Saga champions.
