Fortnite's cosmetic items are highly sought after, with players eagerly anticipating the return of popular skins to the in-game store. Epic Games' rotation system, while providing variety, often results in lengthy waits. While some skins, like Master Chief (after a two-year absence), eventually reappear, others remain elusive.
This is particularly true for the Jinx and Vi skins from Arcane. Despite significant player demand following the second season's release, the chances of their return seem slim. Riot Games co-founder Marc Merrill indicated during a stream that the collaboration was limited to the first season, leaving the decision solely with Riot. While he expressed willingness to discuss the matter internally, he offered no guarantees.
The potential for substantial revenue from these skins is undeniable. However, Riot may be hesitant due to concerns about diverting players from League of Legends, which is currently facing challenges. The possibility of players switching games solely for these skins poses a risk to League of Legends' player base.
Therefore, while future developments remain possible, holding out hope for a Jinx and Vi return in Fortnite might be unrealistic for the time being.
