Genshin Impact: Four New Characters Leaked

Genshin Impact continues to captivate players with its engaging content updates, and the latest Version 5.3 has already introduced exciting new characters, Mavuika and Citlali, featured on a double banner. Additionally, the second part of this update will bring a new four-star character, Lan Yan, as part of the Lantern Rite Festival celebration. The game's commitment to delivering fresh storylines, playable units, and new regions keeps the community eagerly anticipating what's next.

During the most recent Special Program event for Version 5.3, HoYoverse teased fans with silhouettes of upcoming characters, sparking curiosity about their identities and roles. A presenter hinted that more details about these characters would be shared within the next six months. Thanks to a reliable leaker, DK2, we now have insights into the release schedule for these new additions. From left to right, the characters are set to appear in updates 5.7, 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6, and all will be five-star rarities.

Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Upcoming Five-star Releases

The character slated for Version 5.4 has been identified as Mizuki, a five-star Anemo catalyst user from the Inazuma region. Mizuki's silhouette aligns with the design currently in the 5.4 beta phase, and as no other five-star characters are mentioned, it seems likely she will be the sole new five-star addition in this update. This leak gains further credibility due to the absence of information about other five-star units in the beta.

Mizuki's introduction could signal a return to the beloved Electro nation of Inazuma, consistent with HoYoverse's pattern of revisiting regions four to five updates after their initial release. As a support character, Mizuki's kit focuses on maximizing Elemental Mastery, and beta gameplay footage shows promising synergy with the recently released Pyro Archon, Mavuika. Players can anticipate Mizuki's arrival around mid-February, as she is expected to feature in the first banner phase of the 5.4 update.
