Hasbro Unveils G.I. Joe Cold Slither Heavy Metal Box Set

IGN has an exclusive first look at Hasbro's latest addition to the G.I. Joe Classified line, and it's nothing short of spectacular. This new box set introduces the infamous Cobra villain Zartan and his Dreadnoks, transformed into the heavy metal band Cold Slither, ready to rock out in style.

The Cold Slither set features meticulously crafted 6-inch figures of Zartan, Ripper, Buzzer, and Torch, all geared up for the Band of Vipers World Tour concert. It comes packed with an impressive 29 accessories, including a variety of musical instruments such as a guitar, bass, keytar, and drum set. The packaging itself is a nod to the Springfield Theater, enhancing the collectible's appeal.

This exclusive set will be available at San Diego Comic-Con from July 24-27, 2025. Fans who miss out on the convention can still grab a limited quantity on the Hasbro Pulse website post-event.

For enthusiasts of the classic G.I. Joe style, Hasbro is collaborating with Super7 to introduce Cold Slither Zartan to the ReAction+ line. This 3.75-inch figure, designed with O-Ring construction and vintage-style packaging, captures the essence of the original A Real American Hero toys. It glows in the dark under UV light and includes microphone and guitar accessories. Priced at $20, it will be available for preorder on the Super7 website starting April 3 at 9:15am PT.
