While you can form friendships with nearly everyone in *Fields of Mistria*, romance is reserved for a select group of NPCs. As of the v0.13.0 update, you have the option to pursue romance with 11 different NPCs, including the intriguing Caldarus.

Each romanceable NPC has a unique heart meter that fills based on your interactions with them. To kindle a romance with a specific character, engage with them regularly and take note of their preferences. Start by **conversing with them daily**, which you can do while attending to other tasks around town. Regular chats can significantly strengthen your bond. Additionally, make sure to fulfill any requests they post on the town board; completing these tasks will provide more chances to boost their heart gauge.

You can also **present them with a gift once per day**, ideally something they are fond of or adore. These items vary from one character to another and can be gathered or crafted. On their birthday, give them a gift they love to maximize the impact on their heart gauge. Consistent efforts in these areas will swiftly elevate their affection towards you.

Keep in mind that, currently, NPC heart gauges can only reach **six hearts**. At this level, a cutscene will hint at budding feelings, but it won't confirm a full romance yet. According to the game’s roadmap, future updates will introduce 8 and 10-heart events, along with options for marriage and children, ensuring your romantic journey in Mistria has a bright future.

When she's not searching for rare ingredients, you can find her managing the bathhouse in the northeastern part of town. To win her heart, you'll need to visit her frequently, complete her town board requests, and bring her thoughtful daily gifts.

Juniper appreciates a range of items she "likes" and "loves". Her birthday falls on the **26th day of Fall**, so be sure to give her a gift she loves on that day to significantly boost her heart gauge. Avoid items she dislikes, which include all universal dislikes shared by other NPCs and **Sod**.
