Jupiter Expansion: Stellar Mercenaries' Largest Update Unveiled

Stellar Mercenaries has just launched its most expansive update to date with The Jupiter Expansion, significantly expanding the game's universe. This update introduces over 50 new missions spread across five different worlds, and introduces new factions, the Jovian Empire and the Pirate Council, who are locked in a fierce struggle for dominance around Jupiter and its moons.

The missions in this update are diverse, ranging from escort operations and piracy to defending trains and hunting through hyperspace. Players can now explore these new challenges with six freshly added ships: the Raider, Goblin, Mako, Boxer, Lightening, and Skybreaker. Each vessel offers unique abilities and configurations, allowing for tailored fleet customization to suit various combat scenarios.

The arsenal has also been bolstered with six new weapons: the Hyper Velocity Mortar, Plasma Seeker, EMP Rockets, Mauler Cannon, Electron Beam, and Neutron Beam. Players can enhance their defenses with new Tier 4 shields and armors, and utilize new special abilities and mods such as Drones, Point Defense, Critical Strike, and Missile Fire Rate, adding layers of strategy to the gameplay.

The update intensifies enemy encounters with the addition of formidable adversaries like the Nightmare, Riot, and Warhawk-class mercenaries, who adapt and grow alongside the player. Environmental hazards such as asteroid fields, elite enemy ambushes, and a new deep-space threat called the Pacifier, further elevate the challenge and immersion.

In addition to the main campaign, a new side mission system introduces unpredictable action, while 14 new music tracks enhance the sci-fi atmosphere. The Hangar Manager has been upgraded, allowing for better management of your arsenal with expanded inventory and loadout slots.
