by Elijah May 20,2025

Although Kingdom Come: Deliverance II debuted in significantly better shape than its predecessor, it's not immune to the technical issues that often plague expansive RPGs with intricate designs. Warhorse Studios remains committed to enhancing the game post-launch, with their upcoming patch poised to be a major overhaul.

In a recent discussion with Tech4gamers, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global PR manager, revealed that the patch, which has been in development for over five months, will tackle more than 1,000 bugs.

"This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."

The gaming community is buzzing with anticipation, not just for bug fixes, but also for potential new gameplay mechanics or quality-of-life improvements. Given the extensive development time, there's a strong expectation for substantial enhancements, though we'll have to wait for the full patch notes to see what's in store.

Furthermore, Warhorse has announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will receive official mod support within the next two weeks. However, the initial modding capabilities will be limited; for example, players won't be able to create custom missions right away. The studio plans to expand the modding tools in future updates. As for the patch, no specific release date has been announced yet.
