Publisher Neowiz had previously teased the game's first DLC and confirmed plans for a sequel. Lies of P achieved significant success, selling one million copies within a month of its launch on September 18, 2023, across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC via Steam, and Mac via the Mac App Store.
