Kabam is set to enhance Marvel Contest of Champions with significant updates, including the launch of the Dark Phoenix Saga, the introduction of new Champions, and the unveiling of a novel character type called Eidols. This month also marks a celebration of the game's powerful female characters, offering players a unique chance to influence a future Champion rework.

Jean Grey and Bastion are the newest additions to The Contest, each bringing their unique powers and contributing to an enthralling new narrative. Jean Grey becomes available on March 13th, followed by Bastion on March 27th. Before their arrival, the Dark Phoenix Saga will commence on March 3rd, featuring Jean Grey and the X-Men battling against dangerous variants in a fresh quest.

The lore of Marvel Contest of Champions continues to evolve with the introduction of more Eidols, advancing the Founders storyline. The first Eidol, Isophyne, debuted in December 2024, and in 2025, three more Eidols will be introduced, each with a unique sourcing system. The next Eidol, Lumatrix, will make its debut on March 5th and be available until June 4th.

Lumatrix, designed by The Founders, is a master infiltrator with capabilities for spying, sabotage, and assassination with unmatched precision.
