Post-update, Storm has seen remarkable enhancements, catapulting her popularity and effectiveness within the game. According to Rivals Meta, she now boasts the highest win rate in the game, a stark contrast to her previous standing on the hero selection list. In competitive mode, Storm's win percentage has soared to over 56%, with her pick rate climbing to an impressive 16%. Previously struggling to reach even 1%, she now outperforms established heroes such as Adam Warlock, Jeff, Spider-Man, Hela, Hulk, Magic, Iron Man, and numerous others.

Despite Storm's rise, the duo of Cloak and Dagger continues to be the most popular character pairing of Season 1, though their win rate has dipped below 49%. On the other end of the spectrum, Black Widow remains the least favored and least successful character in the game.

With Marvel Rivals drawing in hundreds of thousands of players, including those engaging in its competitive mode, the game is witnessing notable growth. Achieving the prestigious Grandmaster title is a feat accomplished by only 0.1% of players, despite the existence of the Celestial rank, making it a highly exclusive achievement.

Reaching such heights is no small task, but one player has achieved something truly extraordinary. During the first season, this player reached Grandmaster rank without sustaining any damage across 108 games, focusing exclusively on healing teammates while playing as Rocket Raccoon. They managed to restore over 2.9 million health points in those matches and recorded nearly 3,500 assists, all while avoiding any knockouts.
