This week is shaping up to be a monumental one for fans of hero shooters. While Overwatch 2 kicks off its Season 15 and Marvel Rivals gears up for the second half of Season 1, not to mention Team Fortress 2's recent integration into the Source SDK, it's Marvel Rivals that's stealing the spotlight with some fresh content.
The developers of Marvel Rivals have just released exciting gameplay footage featuring the Human Torch and the Thing, the final members of the Fantastic Four set to join the superhero shooter this Friday, February 21. Johnny Storm, known as the Human Torch, is categorized under the Duelist class. His abilities allow him to soar through the skies, unleash fiery projectiles, encase foes in a scorching barrier, and summon devastating fire tornadoes that obliterate anything in their way.
On the other hand, Benjamin J. Grimm, aka the Thing, falls into the Defender class. He brings unique utility to the team by being able to hurl teammates short distances for strategic positioning and to send enemies flying with a mighty ground slam.
Adding to the excitement, the Marvel Rivals team has teased a new map, Central Park, giving players a sneak peek of what's to come.
Mark your calendars—Marvel Rivals is set to roll out this massive update this Friday.
