Monopoly GO is an exciting multiplayer game that takes the classic economics-themed tabletop game and adds a dynamic twist. Players roll dice to navigate the board, build cities, acquire properties, rent them out, and engage in trading. The ultimate aim is to own all properties and bankrupt opponents by collecting rent. However, the game goes beyond these basics, offering much more for players to explore and enjoy.
Every one to two days, new Tournaments are introduced in Monopoly GO, providing players with opportunities to earn Stickers and Dice Rolls. This guide will delve into how to participate and succeed in these Tournaments.
Updated January 14th, 2025, by Usama Ali: Leaderboard tournaments in Monopoly GO are thrilling events where players vie for top rankings based on their points. These tournaments focus on Shutdowns and Bank Heists, where players can demolish opponents' landmarks or rob their banks. Points are earned through these actions, and progress is tracked on a live leaderboard. The goal is to ascend the leaderboard and secure top positions to win exclusive rewards such as dice rolls, rare sticker packs, and cash.

Monopoly GO frequently hosts tournaments where players compete for rewards. Success in these tournaments hinges on your engagement and performance in Shutdowns and Bank Heists. The more you play, the more points you'll accumulate.
During tournaments, players can earn rewards at each milestone. A typical tournament features 30-40 milestones and a competitive leaderboard. Upon the tournament's conclusion, players receive additional rewards based on their final rankings.

If you have a substantial number of Dice, it's wise to conserve them for the next tournament rather than using them all in the current one, especially if your chances of securing a top spot are slim. Saving a significant number of Dice Rolls can give you a better shot at a high ranking in the upcoming tournament.

Employing multipliers strategically can lead to substantial rewards. Since multipliers require extra dice, ensure you have enough rolls in reserve. Timing your use of multipliers correctly can significantly boost your chances of winning valuable rewards.
Mega Heists are a fantastic way to earn more points during tournaments. Participating in a Mega Heist flash event allows you to steal more cash during Bank Heists and earn more points than regular heists. This can be a game-changer in competitive tournaments where every point matters. Mega Heist flash events usually last about 45 minutes, so make the most of them.
Shields protect you from other players' attacks, which is crucial during tournaments. Regularly refilling your Shields minimizes the risk of losing valuable landmarks to opponents. This strategy also discourages repeated attacks from others, as they'll prefer targeting players with depleted Shields.
