Locating Minecraft Chicken Variants

Warm Chickens: These yellow and orange feathered birds thrive in warmer biomes. Look for them in: Badlands, Bamboo Jungle, Eroded Badlands, Jungle, Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Sparse Jungle, Windswept Savanna, and Wooded Badlands.

Cold Chickens: Sporting blue feathers, these chickens inhabit colder climates. Check these biomes: Old Growth Pine Taiga, Old Growth Spruce Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Taiga, Windswept Forest, Windswept Gravelly Hills, and Windswept Hills.

Temperate Chickens: The classic white chickens, now called Temperate Chickens, reside in all biomes not listed above.

Taming Chickens in Minecraft

To collect your chicken flock, remember that chickens aren't traditionally tamed. Instead, lure them with seeds. Once they follow, guide them to a secure enclosure. Be mindful of travel time, especially in Survival mode, and consider establishing temporary holding areas.
