Niantic has just unveiled Season 4 of Monster Hunter Now, transforming the game into a winter wonderland that invites you to explore the snowy tundra. Even if your fingers feel virtually frostbitten, there's a ton of new content to keep your hunts thrilling and engaging.
Monster Hunter Now Season 4 introduces the chilling new snowy tundra habitat, where you'll brave icy winds and trudge through knee-deep snow to encounter a variety of monsters. This season welcomes new faces like Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fierce Tigrex, all making their debut in this frosty environment.
You'll also come across Barioth and smaller monsters such as Wulg and Cortos. Tigrex is eager to challenge you in Hunt-a-thons and may even appear on the field if luck is on your side. To unlock these thrilling encounters, you'll need to complete urgent quests as you advance through Season 4’s story chapters. Finish the prologue to gain access to the tundra.
A new weapon, the Switch Axe, joins the arsenal in Monster Hunter Now Season 4. This versatile weapon offers a two-in-one experience: unleash long-reaching strikes in Axe Mode, then switch to Sword Mode for a more frenzied attack. To unlock the Switch Gauge, simply complete the pre-season story in Chapter 2.
Niantic introduces personal Palico companions to aid in gathering materials and scouting monsters. Customize their fur color, facial features, and even give them quirky names. For AR enthusiasts, you can bring your custom Palico into the real world and capture memorable photos together.
Friend Cheering adds a heartwarming touch to Season 4. Send cheers to your friends, giving them a temporary health boost for the day. Keep in mind, though, there’s a limit to how much health can be gained from cheers.
