"Monster Hunter Now Tests New Outbreaks Feature"

Exciting developments are on the horizon for Monster Hunter Now players, as Niantic introduces a new feature called Monster Outbreaks. Currently in the testing phase, this feature aims to gather player feedback and make necessary adjustments before its official launch. Let’s dive into the details of this thrilling new addition to the game.

When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?

The testing phase for Monster Outbreaks is scheduled to run from April 26th to April 27th, with two sessions each day. You can join the action on both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., local time. This is your chance to experience the feature firsthand and provide valuable feedback.

During the event, designated outbreak points on the map will swarm with 8-star Black Diablos. The objective? Team up with other players to take down a total of 100 Black Diablos at each outbreak spot within the one-hour window. Note that this count is specific to each location, not a global total.

To participate, you must have a Hunter Rank (HR) of 11 or higher. Importantly, the party feature won’t be available; only in-person group hunts will count toward the goal. Outbreak points are clearly marked on the map with a special icon, and tapping on it will reveal more details. A sign-up roster at each spot allows you to coordinate with other players.

The mechanics of the slay count add an intriguing layer to the event. If you and three other hunters take down one Black Diablos, that counts as four toward the 100-monster goal. If your group reaches the 100-mark before time runs out, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the hour.

Successful groups that achieve the 100-monster target will be rewarded handsomely. You’ll receive 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, using the sign-up roster qualifies you for a special Outbreak Test I Medal.

Are you ready to take on this challenge? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and join the Monster Outbreaks testing over the weekend. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to help shape the future of the game.
