NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially facing its End of Service (EOS). After a four-year run on Android, the game will be discontinued. This news comes as a surprise to many fans, but the PC and console versions will remain unaffected.
Dead by Daylight Mobile, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title, offered a thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical horror experience. Players could choose to be either a Killer, hunting down Survivors, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture.
Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS Date:
The official shutdown date for Dead by Daylight Mobile is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, meaning new downloads will no longer be possible after that date. Existing players can continue to enjoy the game until the final shutdown.
NetEase will process refunds according to regional regulations. Further details regarding the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.
Players looking to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those who make the switch, and loyalty rewards will be given to players who have previously spent money or accumulated XP on the mobile version.
Grab the game on the Google Play Store before it's gone to experience the chilling gameplay for yourself. Don't miss out on this final opportunity to play! Also, be sure to check out our coverage of the new dungeon-building game, Tormentis Dungeon RPG, on Android.
