Nintendo's interactive alarm clock, Alarmo, is expanding its retail availability in March 2025, as announced via their Twitter (X) account. Initially requiring a Nintendo Online membership, this restriction will be removed for the wider release.

Alarmo will be available at major retailers globally, including Target, Walmart, GameStop, and other authorized retailers. The suggested retail price is $99.99 USD. This wider release comes after an overwhelmingly positive initial response that led to sell-outs and a lottery system in Japan to manage demand.

Following its October 9th, 2024 launch, Alarmo quickly sold out in various locations, including Japan (prompting a lottery system for Nintendo Online members) and New York City.

• Game-Themed Alarms: Wake up to gentle sounds and animations featuring characters from popular Nintendo franchises like Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Splatoon 3. Currently, 42 scenes are available, with more promised via free updates.
• Interactive Wake-Up Experience: A character appears on the screen, and interacting with the clock (waving your hand or moving) quiets the alarm. Persistent sleepers will encounter a more "persuasive" visitor and intensified sounds. The motion sensor allows for silencing the alarm without touching the device.
• Sleep Tracking: Monitors sleep patterns, recording time spent in bed and movement during sleep.
• Ambiance and Soundscapes: Hourly chimes and sleep sounds themed to the selected game scene enhance the overall experience.
