Lies of P DLC and Sequel Announced: A Director's Letter Reveals Exciting New Content

NEOWIZ's Lies of P, the acclaimed steampunk Soulslike, is getting a DLC expansion and a full sequel! Director Ji-Won Choi recently shared a heartfelt message thanking fans and offering a sneak peek at the upcoming content.

The DLC, currently in development, promises to expand upon the base game's strengths while addressing player feedback. Choi highlighted the team's dedication, working through Korea's summer heat to deliver a compelling experience. He emphasized a commitment to building on what made the original game a success.

"For the DLC and the sequel, we aim to refine our strengths and improve where we can grow," Choi stated. "It's a simple goal, but achieving it is anything but easy."

The exciting news was accompanied by a reveal: new concept art depicting P in a snowy landscape, gazing at a mysterious lighthouse. This hints at a chilling new environment brimming with peril. A new piece of music from the DLC's soundtrack was also shared, though it was originally composed in 2022 by onoken. NEOWIZ owns the rights to both the original and the newly-arranged track. A music video accompanying the song further adds to the atmosphere.

While a precise release date remains unannounced, NEOWIZ's Q1 2024 earnings report suggests a launch sometime in the second half of 2024. The DLC will be released alongside four other NEOWIZ titles:

Previous teasers showcased early concept art depicting an industrial facility and a shipwreck, further hinting at the diverse environments awaiting players.
