Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, Sunborn's free-to-play tactical RPG for PC and mobile, features gacha mechanics. A common question among players is whether the pity system carries over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.
Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will transfer to the next limited-time banner. For instance, during the global launch, the Suomi and Ullrid banners ran concurrently. Pulling on either increased the pity counter for both. This means if you're close to pity on one, you can switch and potentially get the featured character on the other. This applies to all future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. Once a limited banner ends, your progress carries over to the next one.
However, this pity system does not transfer between limited and standard banners. You cannot manipulate the pity system by pulling on the standard banner to reach soft or hard pity before switching to a limited banner.
Remember: Hard pity is at 80 pulls, but soft pity begins at 58, increasing your chances of obtaining an SSR unit with each subsequent pull until hard pity is reached.
This should clarify the pity system in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game tips, including a reroll guide, tier list, and mailbox location, check out The Escapist.
