Pokémon TCG Pocket's latest emblem event, the Space-Time Smackdown, is now live! Earn non-consecutive wins to unlock cool new emblems and showcase your battling skills. While the trading feature may not have met all fan expectations, this event offers a fun way to engage with the game.
This emblem event requires accumulating a specific number of victories to obtain the various emblems. Unlike previous events, consecutive wins aren't required, but this also means achieving the highest-tier emblems (like the coveted Gold emblem) demands a significant number of wins – a hefty 45, to be exact!
The rewards are new emblems to display proudly on your player profile. But act fast! This event ends February 25th, so you'll need to rack up those wins to claim the Gold emblem before time runs out.

A Gamified Approach
The emblem system presents a mixed bag. It's an interesting adaptation of the TCG, but also highlights the game's uncertain approach to replicating the full physical TCG experience. It seems unsure whether to fully embrace all physical TCG features or just emulate certain aspects.
However, events like this are undeniably effective in keeping players engaged and motivated to strive for higher achievements.
