During this period, trainers can participate in one-star, three-star, and five-star Shadow Raids either in person or remotely. This opportunity not only allows players to engage in battles from the comfort of their homes but also increases their chances of capturing Pokemon with higher IV stats, enhancing their gameplay experience.

Pokemon GO Temporarily Introducing Remote Raid Passes for Shadow Raids

A highlight of the event is the Shadow Ho-Oh Raid day on January 19, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, where players can use their remote raid passes to battle and have a boosted chance of catching a shiny shadow Ho-Oh. Additionally, trainers can teach this powerful Pokemon the charged attack Sacred Fire and use a Charged TM to help Shadow Pokemon forget the move Frustration.

The introduction of remote raid passes for Shadow Raids has been one of the most requested features by the Pokemon GO community. However, it's important to note that this feature will only be available during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Once the event concludes, players will no longer be able to use remote raid passes in Shadow Raids.
