Pokémon Go Fest Madrid: A resounding success, not only for player turnout, but for love!
The recent Pokémon Go Fest in Madrid, Spain, attracted a massive crowd of dedicated players. While the event was a celebration of the game itself, with players hunting rare Pokémon and connecting with fellow enthusiasts, it also became the backdrop for several unforgettable proposals.
Five couples, captured on camera, popped the question at the festival, and all five received a resounding "Yes!" This heartwarming event highlights the enduring power of Pokémon Go to bring people together.

Love in the Air in Madrid
One couple, Martina and Shaun, shared their story: "After 8 years, 6 of them long-distance, we've finally settled together. This was the perfect way to celebrate our new life," Martina explained.
The Madrid event drew over 190,000 attendees, a testament to Pokémon Go's continued popularity. While Niantic offered a special package for proposals, suggesting many more may have happened off-camera, the five documented proposals underscore the game's role in connecting couples and fostering lasting relationships. It seems Pokémon Go has more than just Pokémon to catch!
