Pokémon GO's New Year's Celebration: Get Ready for Festive Fun!

Pokémon GO is celebrating the New Year with its annual holiday event, running from December 30th to January 1st, 2025. This exciting event features themed bonuses, special Pokémon encounters, and plenty of ways to ring in the new year in style. Following the Community Day event (December 21st-22nd), prepare for a week of festive fun!

This year's highlights include a boosted XP reward: catch Pokémon with Excellent Throws to earn 2,025 XP each! Immerse yourself in the holiday atmosphere with festive decorations and fireworks illuminating the skies.

Raids also get a festive makeover! One-star raids feature a snowflake-hat-wearing Pikachu, while three-star raids bring party-hat-adorned Raticate and Wobbuffet. All three have increased Shiny rates.
