Pokémon TCG Pocket's trading system has undergone significant improvements since launch. After extensive community feedback, developers have implemented the highly requested Wishlist feature - a game-changer arriving July 29th.
The update solves trading frustrations by letting players specify desired cards - with capacity for 20 wishlisted cards visible in your collection and three prominently displayed on your profile. No more crossing fingers when trading!
While scoring rare pulls like the elusive OG Charizard ex still requires luck, you'll finally have control over what cards appear in trade offers - replacing endless duplicates (looking at you, Exeggutor).

The update brings even bigger news: Trade Tokens are being retired in favor of Shinedust. The new system removes the need to sacrifice cards for tokens while doubling Shinedust rewards for duplicate pulls.
Existing Trade Tokens aren't wasted - they can be converted into valuable resources. Players can exchange tokens at 1:1 ratio for Pack Hourglasses (capped at 60) or get 10x Shinedust per token with no limits.
These responsive changes demonstrate developer commitment to community feedback - a key reason Pokémon TCG Pocket earned its Pocket Gamer People's Choice Award 2025 nomination. Still haven't voted? Now's your chance to support this evolving TCG!
