Get Ready for Pokémon GO's Lunar New Year 2025 Celebration!

Niantic has announced the Pokémon GO Lunar New Year 2025 event, running from January 29th to February 2nd. This event promises a wealth of opportunities to catch Lucky Pokémon, Shiny Pokémon, and earn valuable rewards.

Event Highlights:

• Increased Lucky Pokémon Chances: Boost your chances of obtaining Lucky Pokémon through trades and by becoming Lucky Friends.
• Shiny Pokémon Encounters: Encounter Ekans, Onix, and Snivy more frequently, with increased Shiny rates. Other boosted wild spawns include Darumaka, Dunsparce, Gyarados, and Dratini.
• Egg-cellent Hatches: 2km Eggs will feature Makuhita, Nosepass, Meditite, Duskull, and Skorupi.
• Rewarding Research: Complete Lunar New Year-themed Field Research and Timed Research tasks for Stardust, XP, Zygarde Cells, and Pokémon encounters. A paid Timed Research ($2) offers enhanced rewards, including two Lucky Eggs and an incubator.
• Collection Challenge: Complete the event-themed Collection Challenge for extra Stardust, perfect for traders.
• PokeStop Showcases: Show off your Lunar New Year Pokémon in PokeStop Showcases for additional item bundle rewards.

The event begins Wednesday, January 29th, at 10:00 a.m. and concludes Sunday, February 2nd, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Don't forget to claim all your rewards before the event ends!
