Among iconic female fighting game characters, three names immediately spring to mind: Nina Williams, Chun-Li, and Mai Shiranui. While Nina and Chun-Li clashed in Street Fighter x Tekken, a rematch isn't on the horizon.
However, Mai Shiranui's arrival as a guest character in Street Fighter 6 is a different story. It's no surprise that her gameplay trailer showcases a showdown with Chun-Li.
Mai's signature moves are faithfully recreated, her Super looks spectacular, and she's poised to become a fan favorite in Street Fighter 6. Unfortunately, Capcom has set her release date for February 5th, meaning a three-week wait.
Let's hope the Street Fighter 6 team releases more content to keep us entertained in the meantime.
