DC Studios has unveiled an exciting new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie, directed by James Gunn and set to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. This three-minute trailer provides a deeper dive into the film's expansive ensemble of superheroes and supervillains.

The trailer showcases Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, effortlessly dispatching foes with a flick of his hand. We also get a closer look at Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl and María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer. In a thrilling scene, The Engineer is seen destroying robots in the Fortress of Solitude, including the caretaker robot Kelex, which we saw Superman mourn in a previous trailer.

Krypto the Superdog also makes a heroic appearance, bravely engaging The Engineer with a flying punch. It's clear that Krypto is more than ready to leap into action against any threat.

The trailer further reveals Lex Luthor, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult, and Ultraman in action. We see more of Edi Gathegi's Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan's Rex Mason / Metamorpho, adding to the rich tapestry of characters. The Hammer of Boravia, a new character introduced by Gunn, suspected to be Ultraman in disguise, makes a significant appearance in the full trailer following a teaser the day before.

The relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane takes center stage, highlighted by an interview scene where Lois challenges Clark about his controversial intervention in a foreign war. The dialogue hints at tension, with Clark defending his actions, stating, "I wasn’t representing anyone except for me... and doing good!" This intervention leads to an attack by The Hammer of Boravia on Downtown Metropolis.

Another poignant scene shows a member of the public helping Superman out of a hole in the ground during the battle with The Hammer of Boravia, contrasting with other scenes where the public's reaction to Superman ranges from screaming to throwing objects at him, highlighting the complex public perception of the superhero.
