Activision has unveiled an exciting new crossover for the popular online shooters, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone. Fans of the series will be thrilled to see the iconic heroes from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) making another appearance in the game. This isn't the first time these beloved characters have joined forces with an Activision title, adding a unique flair to the gaming experience.
While the developers have kept the details under wraps, promising only that the collaboration is coming "soon," the community at CODWarfareForum has been buzzing with unconfirmed leaks. According to these sources, players can look forward to new operator skins featuring all four TMNT protagonists: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael. Though fans are disappointed that other notable characters like April O'Neil, Master Splinter, and Shredder aren't mentioned, the excitement remains high.
The crossover is expected to introduce new weapons perfect for close combat or finishing moves, including a skateboard, katana, nunchucks, and a staff. These additions align perfectly with the TMNT theme. The main events of this collaboration are set to unfold on the Grind map, a skatepark that complements the TMNT aesthetic seamlessly.
Despite the anticipation surrounding the TMNT crossover, the reaction from the community has been mixed. The current state of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been a point of contention, with numerous bugs and rampant cheating causing a significant decline in its online player base. Many feel that introducing a collaboration at this time feels like a misstep during a period of crisis for the game. It remains to be seen whether these issues will be resolved and if the crossover will help rejuvenate interest in Black Ops 6.
