Tony Hawk's Insistence Brings Bam Margera to THPS 3+4

Bam Margera will indeed be featured in the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, despite not being included in the initial roster announcement. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during an exclusive members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

Bagley revealed that the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk personally reached out to Activision, insisting on Margera's inclusion. Initially, Activision told Hawk it couldn't be done, but the skateboarding icon was determined and wouldn't accept no for an answer. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Bam Margera, known for his professional skateboarding career and his role in the Jackass franchise, has faced well-documented struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, leading to multiple rehab visits. His recent dismissal from Jackass Forever and a restraining order issued by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats added to his public challenges. However, a recent video shared by Hawk and Margera skateboarding together sparked speculation about Margera's return to the game.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the project overcame significant hurdles, including its near cancellation following the merger of the previous developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
