Top Jedi Survivors of Order 66 Ranked

This month marks the 20th anniversary of the release of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, the concluding chapter in the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy. Released on May 19, 2005, this film served as the final Star Wars installment directed by George Lucas before he sold Lucasfilm to Disney in 2012.

Fans anticipated that Revenge of the Sith would depict Anakin Skywalker's transformation into Darth Vader. A key mystery was the fate of the Jedi during this pivotal moment. The film introduced Order 66, a sinister plot by Palpatine, compelling Clone Troopers to turn against and execute the Jedi they had fought alongside during the Clone Wars. Given the thousands of Jedi in service, it was logical to assume that some would evade this purge, beyond the few known survivors essential to the Original Trilogy's narrative.

Since then, Star Wars canon has introduced numerous survivors of Order 66, and we have ranked the top 10 who have left a significant mark. These Jedi varied in their longevity post-Order 66, with some surviving only briefly, while others thrived for years, and a few whose fates remain undisclosed. All of them, however, lived to fight another day after Palpatine's chilling command to "Execute Order 66."

Our criteria for this list require that these characters were part of the Jedi Order before Order 66, regardless of their rank—from Padawan to Jedi Master or even young Jedi Initiates. Therefore, non-Jedi Force-users like Maul and his former Master, Palpatine, are excluded, as are those like Jod Na Nawood, who, despite receiving some Jedi training, were never officially part of the Jedi Order.

There was some debate about including Asajj Ventress, who was trained by Jedi Master Ky Narec on Rattatak and considered his Padawan. However, since she never visited Coruscant or met the Jedi Council during her training, and later turned to the Dark Side under Count Dooku, we've decided to list her as an honorable mention.
