The words to find are available in English, or you can choose from 35 other languages for a multilingual experience.

Are you tired of seeing the same words repeatedly? Frustrated by searching for bizarre, non-English words? Struggling with grids that are too small or too difficult to read? Word Search Ultimate addresses all these issues and more.

You can customize the following:

1) Grid size

Specify the exact number of columns and rows (from 3 to 20). You can even create non-square grids like 12x15.

2) Difficulty of the game

Set the approximate proportion of words that appear diagonally, backwards, or vertically (e.g., exclude diagonal or backwards words).

3) Difficulty of the words

Choose the dictionary size to generate the game, ranging from the 500 most common words (ideal for language learners) to 80,000 words.

4) Maximum number of words

Select the maximum number of words to find in one game, from 1 to 150, enough to fill a 20x20 grid.

5) Minimum & Maximum word length

Avoid searching for too many small words (a common issue in word apps). This is also useful for setting up highly challenging games (e.g., set both minimum and maximum word length to three).

6) Highlighting

Decide whether to mark found words or keep the grid unmarked for easier reading.

7) Word list layout

Arrange the word list in columns or spread evenly across the screen.

8) Language

Choose the language of the word list from a wide range of downloadable dictionaries. Currently, 36 languages are available (see below).

9) Orientation

Play in either portrait or landscape mode. Simply rotate your device, and the display adjusts automatically.

10) Word Category

Select words from various categories such as animals, food, and more.

This app empowers you to play the game exactly as you prefer.

Each game is assigned a difficulty level from 0 (easy) to 9 (very hard), determined by your settings or the difficulty selector. High scores, measured by the fastest completion time, are maintained for each difficulty level. The game displays the top 20 scores for each level.

Unique features of this app include:

1) Two word selection methods: (i) classic swipe, and (ii) touching the first and last letter of the word in the grid.

2) Game aid for when you're stuck. You can reveal a word you can't find.

3) View the definition of a word using an online dictionary (requires an internet connection).

4) When playing with a foreign language word list, the word definition will (where possible) be in your own language, making it excellent for language learning!
