El próximo mes, los suscriptores de PlayStation Plus verán una sacudida significativa en su biblioteca de juegos, con 22 títulos que se eliminarán el 20 de mayo de 2025. Entre estos se encuentran los favoritos de los fanáticos como Grand Theft Auto 5 , Payday 2 : Crimnewave Edition y las últimas versiones jugables de la resistencia de los títulos de primera parte: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 .
PlayStation Plus ofrece un servicio de juego en línea expansivo para usuarios de PlayStation, con juegos mensuales gratuitos, pruebas limitadas por tiempo, capacidades multijugador en línea y descuentos exclusivos para los miembros. Además, los miembros extra y premium tienen acceso a un vasto catálogo de juegos actuales y clásicos.
Como se destaca por Push Square , la extracción inminente de estos 22 juegos de la Biblioteca PS Plus Premium es notable, especialmente la salida de dos juegos significativos de Sony PS3 de Sony.

Esto es particularmente impactante para la resistencia: Fall of Man y Resistance 2 , ya que estos juegos ya no están disponibles para su compra en la tienda PS. El servicio de transmisión PS Plus Premium es la plataforma final para experimentar estos títulos, a menos que sea dueño de los juegos y una PS3 funcional. En contraste, la resistencia: la caída del hombre y la resistencia 2 serán completamente inaccesibles en las consolas modernas después de la remoción.
En particular, la resistencia 3 y la resistencia: la retribución continuará estando disponible en el servicio. Además, el título de PS4 Infamous: Second Son también está programado para la eliminación de PS Plus.
La serie de resistencia de Insomniac ha estado en pausa durante algún tiempo. En febrero, Ted Price, el fundador y presidente saliente de Insomniac, reveló los esfuerzos para desarrollar la Resistencia 4 , que finalmente no se materializó. Al igual que la serie Killzone de Guerrilla, Resistance ha quedado atrás en los últimos años.
