Tras el anuncio de que la Academia de Artes y Ciencias de la Cine de la Academia finalmente dará un Oscar por el diseño de acrobacias, el actor Tom Hardy ha cuestionado si solo una categoría de premios es suficiente.
Hablando con IGN antes del lanzamiento de su nueva película, Havoc, Hardy nos dijo: "Un Oscar, es demasiado poco tarde en algunos aspectos. Es bueno, es genial y la copa medio territorio, pero creo que tal vez se pide más".
"No es suficiente solo un diseño de acrobacias porque hay tantos elementos que se destinan a acrobacias como departamento", continúa el actor de Venom y Mad Max: Fury Road. “The design element is like an umbrella for a diaspora of different groups within that world that all need to be illuminated, and understood, quite how hard they work, and, what the stunt department, along with effects, deliver for people that want to go to cinema or sit down and watch anything remotely with any action or anything beyond just the written word or the spoken word. Whether it's people on horseback, cars, people jumping off buildings, people being on fire, fights, people getting run over, Submarino, paracaidismo, sea lo que sea.

En cambio, los Oscar habrán tardado 100 años en introducir una categoría de premio dedicada a la artesanía del diseño de acrobacias cuando llegue a los Premios de la Academia 2028. Sin embargo, no tendrá que esperar tanto tiempo para ver estragos, que llega a Netflix este viernes 25 de abril, si le apetece ver a Tom Hardy asesinar a docenas de personas.
