Following the monumental Update 2.0, Black Border 2 has rolled out another exciting update, Update 2.1. While it may not be as extensive as its predecessor, it still brings a slew of new features and improvements to the game. The developers have taken the community's feedback to heart, addressing several issues and enhancing the overall gaming experience.
One of the most significant additions in Update 2.1 is the introduction of five new wanted characters, which you can encounter at level 36. These aren't your typical travelers; they could spell trouble. Your mission is to apprehend them before they manage to escape. Stay vigilant, as missing one could lead to consequences you'll need to address.
Border interactions have become more dynamic with the addition of new emotes. Now, the characters you interrogate will exhibit more personality, using charm, pleas, or frustration in their attempts to influence you.
The bribery system in Black Border 2 has also seen some tweaks. Bribes will no longer appear randomly; they'll only show up after you reject a character's request. This change means every decision you make now has greater impact.
There's also a small but significant update to the base rewards system. Now, when you construct something, you'll receive your rewards instantly, rather than having to wait.
Lastly, Update 2.1 brings enhanced audio and visual effects to the game. You'll notice new sound effects for actions like stamping and handling documents, along with animations for warning papers, vehicle spins, and manual inspections, enriching the immersive experience.
The Black Border 2 team is already hard at work on Update 2.2, which promises to introduce an all-new Story Mode. Additionally, the game is officially in development for the Nintendo Switch. You can dive into the latest update by downloading the game from the Google Play Store.
