Brawl Stars, the action-packed multiplayer game developed by Supercell, continues to thrill players with its dynamic roster of brawlers. The latest addition, Buzz Lightyear, has injected a fresh wave of excitement as the first limited-time brawler, available until February 4th. With the clock ticking, players are eager to unlock and master this unique character before he departs, adding a sense of urgency to his arrival.

What distinguishes Buzz Lightyear from the pack is his ability to switch between three distinct combat styles before entering a match, providing players with unmatched versatility. This flexibility makes him a formidable force across various game modes. Here's how to leverage Buzz Lightyear's capabilities in Brawl Stars.

How To Play Buzz Lightyear?

Buzz Lightyear is a limited-time brawler that players can unlock for free from the in-game Shop. Upon unlocking, Buzz comes fully powered at Level 11 with his Gadget already unlocked. He does not have Star Powers or Gears but is equipped with a single Gadget, Turbo Boosters, enabling him to dash forward—perfect for closing gaps with enemies or making quick escapes.

Buzz also boasts a unique Hypercharge called Bravado, which, while not offering passive buffs, temporarily enhances Buzz's stats. This Hypercharge and Gadget are accessible across all three of Buzz Lightyear's combat modes. Below is a detailed look at Buzz Lightyear's modes, including his Attack and Super damage values:

Each of Buzz’s combat modes offers distinct advantages. Laser Mode is ideal for long-range combat, inflicting a burn effect on enemies for continuous damage, making it tough for opponents to counter. Saber Mode, suited for close encounters, mimics Bibi’s attacks and features the Tank Trait, enabling Buzz to charge his Super when taking damage. Wing Mode acts as a versatile option, performing optimally when Buzz is near his adversaries.

Which Is The Best Game Mode For Buzz Lightyear?

Unlike other brawlers, Buzz’s diverse combat modes make him adaptable to various game modes. In maps with confined spaces, like those in Showdown, Gem Grab, and Brawl Ball, Saber Mode shines. Its Super allows Buzz to land precisely, making him particularly effective against Throwers. For maps with more open terrain in modes such as Knockout or Bounty, Laser Mode is the go-to choice. Its burn-over-time effect pressures opponents by delaying their healing, especially those without healing abilities. Even with low health, Buzz can push aggressively, securing wins in Trophy Events or the new Arcade Mode.

Buzz Lightyear is not available in Ranked Mode, so players must earn his Mastery in other game modes. As a limited-time brawler, his Mastery cap is set at 16,000 points, making it achievable before his departure. Here’s a breakdown of the rewards available at each rank in his Mastery track:
