CoD: Black Ops 6 Unveils Enigmatic Zombies Map for Season 2

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Season 2 introduces "The Tomb," a new Zombies map launching January 28th. This map continues the narrative from "Citadelle des Morts," the Season 1 Reloaded addition.

The Tomb will be the fourth Zombies map in Black Ops 6, following Terminus Island and Liberty Falls. Treyarch, the developer, describes The Tomb's structure as similar to Liberty Falls, promising a new Wonder Weapon drawing inspiration from previous entries in the franchise, along with classic Easter Eggs. Returning playable characters include Weaver, Grey, Garver, and Maya. The setting is catacombs built atop ancient burial grounds.

Further details, including a full Season 2 reveal, are promised next week. However, Treyarch has offered teasers: The Tomb will feature nods to older Zombies maps, enhanced Pack-a-Punch camos, and the return of a historically significant SMG from the Zombies franchise.

The consistent release of a new Zombies map per season remains uncertain, especially given Treyarch's rumored involvement with the 2025 Call of Duty title. Nevertheless, fans can anticipate ongoing Zombies content updates.
