In *Avowed*, Obsidian Entertainment's latest RPG, the expansive world of the Living Lands might make it feel like your journey will never end. However, the main quest is relatively short. If you're eager to dive back in after the credits roll, here's what you can expect post-gameplay.
For many RPG enthusiasts, the thrill of replaying a game with all the skills and gear earned from the initial playthrough on a higher difficulty is unmatched. Unfortunately, *Avowed* does not feature a New Game Plus mode at launch. Fans have expressed a strong desire for this feature, and there's a possibility that Obsidian might introduce it in a future update or DLC in response to community feedback.
Even without New Game Plus, *Avowed* offers compelling reasons to start anew. The game is rich with choices that significantly impact both story and gameplay. Creating a new save to explore different endings and experiment with various character builds could be well worth your time.

Without New Game Plus and with no traditional endgame, *Avowed's* post-game content may feel somewhat limited. After defeating the final boss, you'll be treated to several minutes of animatic cutscenes that illustrate the consequences of your decisions across the Living Lands. Once these cutscenes conclude, you'll find yourself back at the Main Menu.
From here, you have two main options: start a fresh journey with a new Envoy or reload a previous save. Autosaves are available just before the point of no return and before the final encounter, allowing you to replay these crucial sections with different choices to witness varied story outcomes.
Reloading to a save before the point of no return also lets you revisit earlier regions. You can clean up the map, complete any missed side quests, and collect achievements. With your upgraded gear, revisiting early areas like Dawnshore can be a fun and breezy experience.
And that's what happens after you beat *Avowed*.
*Avowed is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass.*
